I was going to get a bridge faucet until I visited my sister and she pointed out how much water drips from wet hands onto the countertop around the faucet. She even keeps a towel by her faucet to keep mopping it up. With the older faucets that rested on a drop in sink, this water ran back into the sink. I decided to limit dripping by getting a single handle faucet in the same style as the bridge one I liked and the handle is turned almost over the sink, limiting dripping on the counter. The handle is to the left because that is the hand I use to turn on the water mostly even though I am right handed.

The faucet is a Danze. I've had it a year and so far it works great. I did have to clean out the aerator a few times the first day. This is mine. The chrome is less expensive.

I would never get a 2 handle kitchen faucet for those exact reasons jhmarie. I don't like the water drips at the bathroom sinks. I turned my single handle inward to the sink also, drips go right into the sink. Rarely have to wipe up the area.

They look pretty but the single handle version would be a good alternative.

And I hate a single handle. LOL.

I went back and forth between getting the Rohl or a similar style. I looked at were Kohler, Brizo, Danze and Cifial. However, none of them had the weight or feel of the Rohl and I wound up buying the Rohl.

The Blanco Grace has a very traditional look with a side spray, but has a single handle operation on the faucet itself. I picked up one for a great price on Amazon Warehouse deals for my island prep sink.

I'm usually so decisive but this is causing me anxiety! One lever or two? Which brand? Which finish? If I go with Rohl I'll probably go with Polished Nickel or Brass. My appliances are stainless. I could play it safe with Satin Nickel but that seems so uninteresting...

I have to admit I'm not sure if the two lever design will be a pain in the neck or not. I don't give it a second thought in a bathroom so hoping it'll be fine. FYI the Rohl Inca Brass took about 4 weeks and was non-returnable in that color. I did buy and return a Newport Brass faucet (liked it, just too tall for my space) in a similar color with no problem. So if you think you might return, double check the policy with the less-ordered finishes.
