Can you help identify this rose?

Last year I planted what was supposed to be Rosa Bracteata, McCartney rose. It grew vigorously to a height of 8 feet or so. This spring it was a favorite of the rose slugs and after the slugs it mildewed badly. In other words it is a big hideous mess. I was about to dig it up when I realized it is covered in buds, so I decided to cut back the worst foliage and wait for a bloom. Well, lo and behold, it is not Rosa Bracteata at all. Here are some photos. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
