Leaves are browning and shriveling up

Most of my plants have this funk to them, they kind of turn brown and then shrivel up. I've been regularly spraying with copper and mancozeb. It seems to be spreading upwards on the plants, but not really fast. Some are worse than others. Here a picture of a leaf

I'm not sure what it is, and I haven't been able to make it to the extension office. Any ideas? Thanks

These are the ones over at my other grow site. I know these ones had fertilizer burn, but the tops are growing healthy. Now this funk travels up and I think it's affecting the fruit set, since some aren't setting as much as others. Any ideas?

I'll probably hit them with some daconil and see of that helps, other than that, I'm clueless on what to so. I had a great start and now all this, I guess I'm gonna stick to containers, they seem to be doing better for the most part.

Some fruit is affected too. I probably have multiple issues, but not sure where to start besides starting over and waiting to do my fall planting.

Thanks, Ken. I apologize for the ambiguity as I am a new homeowner. I'll try to provide more helpful information. I live about 15 minutes south of Cincinnati, OH. No, we didn't have a drought last summer. The two most significant weather occurences we suffered were: remnants of Hurricane Ike last fall and a severe ice storm in January. By all outward appearances, neither episode impacted my other young trees. The crabapple did appear to get off to a successful start this spring, sprouting lots of green leaves and berries, but then suddenly took a turn for the worse. I've taken pictures, but I can't figure out how to post them within this message. Do you know how? Again, thank you for your time.

Mine has recovered from worse conditions. Also need to watch out for too rich a soil for bay laurel. Mine usually dries out between watering, and has continued - kept fairly small with severe cut-back at times (to keep it manageable for bringing in and out for spring and fall), for many years - maybe 10 or 12 so far.

I have some mint in a pot that will take watering everyday. Any extra drains out and the porous clay dries out. The leaves don't wilt and beg you for water as other plants might. It's warning is dry and brown, but the good news is that if you have any leaves at all or haven't ignored it too long, you can water it well and keep watering and have a good chance of bringing it back.

english ivy leaves browning suddenly

Hello! I've noticed the same browning/dying of my english ivy that is growing up a large oak tree in my yard. I have a large ant colony in that bed that I've never been able to eradicate and I was wondering if they could be killing it. It's about 3 years old and looked great until now. Could it be getting too much sun just because the leaves aren't out yet? It's been in the 60's and 70's here already, but this hasn't ever happened before! And for those who worry so...I keep it clipped well back, never let it get big enough to flower and burn the clippings so they don't spread.

I'm thinking now it's grey mold (botrytris) after looking at pics, it was the closest match.

My guess would be either gray mold as you think or possibly an atypical case of bacterial canker, based on the fact that the lesions on the leaves seem to not appear in the middle as can be the case with LB or GM but always seem to start at the edge. Are any of the dark spots on fruit looking pitted/raised?

Agree also that it could be more than one issue. For example, there could be a root/soil issue that is causing yellowing, etc. and other pathogens concurrent with that/being opportunistic on weakened plants.

Still having issues with some of my plants, the leaves are still browning and shriveling up. I've used daconil and it seems like it slowed it down, but not completely. Any suggestioms.

Same problem in ground and containers? No answers, but it might help sort out where to start.
