Your Best Spring Performers

Whether it's lusty growth of your newer roses, most beautiful and/or abundant blooms, the ones that make your heart beat faster even when others fail to fully appreciate its charms, whatever was notable and exciting in your garden this spring, please tell us about it, and of course pictures are most welcome.

I personally have nothing awesome to report, since more than half my roses are youngsters, but I've been happy with the very fast growth and almost immediate blooms of Blush Noisette. Almost nothing grows fast for me, so this was a nice surprise. The dead blooms are a bore to cut off, and it may actually be to large for its space with time, but for now I'm very pleased with it. Mme. Antoine Mari, although I'm still not terribly enamored of its blooms, is also growing very quickly and seems to be a willing bloomer. My two Mme. Lambard have also grown quickly, although I notice that it's not a constant bloomer but likes to take a rest before the next flush. I like Wild Edric for its large and fragrant pinkish-purplish flowers in spite of its fearsome rugosa armature. That's about it for me, what about all your successes?
