best ways to clean white quartz counter tops?
Comments (8)I have had Caesarstone for a couple of years now and I'll share some of the tips I learned from them and I've gotten over the years. -As much as you can, wipe up the spills. If you let it sit, you can soak it with warm water and dishwashing liquid. -Don't scrape hardened spills with razors or knives. Scrape them with a plastic ice pick. -Don't use abrasive liquids or solutions during cleaning. -Always use cutting boards and trivets whenever you're cutting vegetables or meat and when you need to remove a hot pot or hot pan. -Lastly, after cleaning the countertop, wipe down everything with a paper towel to prevent having watermarks. Comments (22)This is the only post I could find regarding Royal Reef Quartz. Do you think Royal Reef would go nicely with white cabinets (black hardware) and white subway tile. Our island is a color called Hale Navy. We have Maple light colored flooring. Most of our accents (stools, pendants) are a matte black and stainless. I’m worried the Royal will look too beige. The woman helping us with the quartz said the RR wouldn’t look beige that it would take on the color of the navy and white. I’m not convinced .... any advice? BTW your kitchen is beautiful! Comments (5)Go look at slabs in person. Some I thought I liked I hated in the showroom. I am not into the very large veiny quartz counters that are out now, I like simple with some small pattern within. We went with santamargherita vermont (opus stone) and are very happy with it. A subtle pattern and true white background, didn't want yellow or gray....See MoreAnyone have "leathered Quartz" counter tops?
Comments (27)Thank you CW. I have decided against the leathered look. The beach house photo in my original post does not looked leathered like some of these other photos I am seeing. I believe that kitchen counter description is wrong. By the way, I am OCD and was not offended by your statement. Finger prints would bother me, too! I prefer to think that I am OTT... Over the Top when it comes to perfection. Anyway, the topic is Off topic. ;)...See Moreallison_bradie
