Needs for 2 broody chickens when chicks arrive?

Anna Cunningham

I have 2 boody chickens sitting in nest boxes, way up from the floor. we live on a farm with lots of predators.

When the chicks arrive: would each help need separate run to keep chicks safe from other chickens, guineas.

Would they possibly peacefully share the same area hottest killing each other chicks?

Would I keep them inside the coop for the first week, and let the out in the grass, in an enclosed run after that?

And most important: what if the chicks come out early in the morning and fall out of nesting bin? I tried moving one of the chickens, and she did not like her new nest, went right to the old one, 4 feet off the ground.

Thank you!
