Comments (80)Astraea, I think we are all intelligent enough to take this test for what it is. Definitely though there would be many who would need the professional follow up. Don't know about autism, but many mental illnesses cause sufferers to become very cagey and devious to avoid direct answers. Dementia definitely gets people like that, my mother's wasn't diagnosed for many years because she had comebacks to every question you asked and coverups and excuses for every stupid and weird thing she did. She was never a very bright person but as the dementia progressed she got very quick and soooo cunning....See MoreOLLD 2/3/13
Comments (51)David, no, I didn't know that, I'm so sorry! When did you have the transplant? Are you ok now? And is the prognosis good? I'm sure it is, you look like a healthy kinda guy. It is kind of a hen house but we def need some roosters! Most of the OLLD's have gone to another site and soon I will be here talking to myself. I hate it that the Niners lost, especially that we came so close. Another 5 minutes and the Raven fans would be crying in their beaks. Dang it!...See MoreOLLD 5-6-13
Comments (178)@linda have you tried masking that terrible AC noise? a large water fountain and a a few small ones, even simple containers with large, loud bubblers. chimes. outdoor speakers for a constant background of classical or jazz.... also, it seems like there must be some sort of 'quieting wraps' for loud AC units? dunno, just guessing. i'd do some research and suggest to neighbor they get one. i didn't see the attack posts mentioned above. there's no need for anyone to be rude on this site. hope it doesn't discourage good people from posting....See MoreOLLD 5/13
Comments (148)Didn't realise the full effect of the bear story until I read my SIL's FB page today. Apparently after NewTown the school implemented a lockdown proceedure and put the kids through regular practices as well as organising a recorded phone message to go out to all parents. So they didn't frighten the little ones they told them it was in case a bear ever came down from the mountains and into the school. Although dd had just picked Miss 6 up from school, they still got the phone call. SIL was still shaking at the call "school here, the school is in lockdown". How sickening would that be!!!! DD sent me a video of 3 helicopters just hovering right above their house, which is very close to the school too and at that point they had no idea what was going on....See MoreRelated Professionals
