Yep I do it too. My big oops was 2 large uttermost brand equestrian art works and I have nowhere to hang them! Lol. I'm holding onto them for when I move again maybe the next house will have just the right spot. My storage room is filled with my purchases that I love but have nowhere to put,in my new house.

The couch and two swivel rockers were one of my craigslist deals. They are made be Ebel and way more money then I could have spent. The seller had just recovered the cushions with sunbrella fabric. I kept looking for almost a year and when it finally popped up; I grabbed it.

Robins and cardinals often nest in my garden, and I can't wait for this time of the year to wake up to their morning songs. I've seen a few others, goldfinches, chickadees, woodpeckers, ... Last year alas baby robins fell to prey even twice, one of which I helplessly witnessed as it took only a second for a crow to snatch it from its nest on my porch trellis. I took it pretty hard but still it's always nice to have them around. Except for suet feeders in winter, I don't put out bird feeders because they can attract rodents in this urban residential area. They like feeding on my plants though and my bird bath gets quite used in summer days.
