It's true the LED strip is a little bit brighter than we would like at night so we might try to find a way to diffuse it a bit. But we love the fact it goes on everytime we walk in & turns off after 5 minutes of no movements in the bathroom. That's a great thing about Angie's list. I always tell providers that I found them through Angie's list & I'm not shy about telling them that I always post reviews there. For the most part, they make sure I'm really happy ;-) canuckplayer, I know from the rendering it's hard to tell but my tower is 15" above the counter. It's really easy to access the space under. Just like it's easy to access the counter under kitchen cabinets. My DH didn't put things away before because he had no where to put things other than on the counter. Now he will have lots of storage over & under the counter. Everything will be very easily accessible. Hopefully I will get the wallpaper delivered & installed by the end of this week & the mirrors also. Once the wallpaper is up then we can installed the towel bars & magnifying mirrors next to each sinks. Pictures coming soon :-)

I got the idea for using the hinge down drawer in center like in the kitchen because it was an option my cabinet maker brought up and I passed it along to you. Thats when I knew he knew his craft. I know exactly what you are going through with the GC saying its only in kitchen and making your feel like any change is going to be more expensive but more an inconvenience. I had the help of a designer and still my plummer had to move pipes because I walked away and in the shower I wanted the line up to be the shower handle top because used more, then the body spray handle and at bottom the handheld because used less and he had it the other way around and had to spend a morning fixing it . After his complaining it was two hours it took him and not all day the way he made it sound. I learned through this process to speak up along the way as soon as possible and suck up the attitude that might result. I agree with your decision to make them all 8 in drawers , instead of 10 in on the outside panels , less the cab guy will screw up trying to match with other drawers. It shouldn't cost more to make your change because you haven't started. The hardware you mentioned and hinges save you some money which can go towards the inconvenience of what they think it is. I got the same attitude from my electrician who never heard of putting an outlet in the drawer. He worked for the GC and initially he said he can do anything I want. Seemed energetic and easy to please. The outlet was in the drawer on the initial drawings but when it can time to install he was wanting to do it his way and I wanted the outlet cover flush and seen in back of drawer the way we do here on this site. He was going to put it on the wall behind the drawer and use extension or something two stepped. Thanks to this site I knew it could be done and what to ask for. He made an excuse the there is no room behind drawer for the outlet box , however,this was planned for with cabinet guy who built his drawer less deep for people who do this, making it sound like its requested a lot. I think he learned on the job from me.LOL. The day he came to do his electrical finish work his arm was in a sling from surgery and he had his employee there doing a lot of the work we discussed. Get strong and tell them how you want it. Each day is a new day. This is a custom job , they should expect it.

@Michele Bennett I was/am unaware of any edging tile to match this, so I didn't have any. The edge pieces were showing around an archway to the shower and they were pale blue. I didn't like that, especially after being told they would use a Schluter edge. I chose a paint to match the grout and had the edge painted. It's ok but not elegant. I would find a solution to this before committing to this tile. The tile setter used Schluter around the shower niche and It looks nice. Pictures to follow...

@recorderas, we set it up to accommodate a traditional shower head for some future user, so that's the main reason we stuck (or tried to stick!) to a conventional outlet height. The outlet is in line with the valves, also for that reason. I think that's the challenge I'm having in figuring out how to place something like the example you show below--there, the bar is centered over the valves but the outlet is off to the side so it doesn't conflict. This is where the solutions where the outlet is part of the bar seem to work well--I'll check out the Brizo. (We could have put in a diverter valve, but opted not to since we only wanted the handshower, and we have a thermostatic valve so already have two knobs for temp and volume so a third seemed busy/unneeded extra cost given that we didn't plan to use it.)
