What could be eating milkweed besides Monarch Cats?

Hi All,

I have milkwees seedlings, small cuttings and a few large milkweed plants. I take all the cats off as I see them and put inside butterfly kits. I've noticed something is eating down my milkweed seedlings and smaller cuttings that are putting out new growth. I haven't seen any large cats, other than the ones I'm raising, but something is eating it:(

It's not ate down like a typical monarch cat would do, so I know it's something else. Any ideas of what it could be? Yesterday, it rained most of the day, and this plant

had several leaves and notice not all of the leaves (and stems) are missing. If it were a monarch cat, the whole leaf and stem would of been gone. Also, I noticed other leaves of different plants were chewed on, but it looks like it prefers the milkweed!

Happy Gardening, Jeannie :)
