something is eating my pole bean leaves!

User

I normally just grow flowers but decided to graduate this year to tomatoes, pole beans and cilantro. My sister got hold of some heirloom pole bean seeds (that's all I know abt them) and gave me a few. I planted them in my raised bed and so far 3 have come up.

Something started eating them almost immediately. Looks similar to the damage that grasshoppers inflicted on my hostas last year. I have not noticed that anything else in the bed is similarly afflicted. The other occupants of the U shaped raised bed are verbena, crocosmia, clematis, sedum, peonies and a spikey grass that I don't remember the name of. A big bare area has been seeded with various flowers but they are not sprouting well.

I don't have a clue what to do. Any help would be appreciated.
