I agree, keep the orb in your front entry. Love the idea of a more stylized chandelier in the breakfast nook. Have you thought about doing frosted or colored glass instead of repeating the clear glass? Mixing metals is always a great way to break things up and keeping things fresh. What I don’t like about your original pendants is that the bulbs are exposed due to the clear glass on the bottom. My eyes cannot handle looking at the bulbs, even with the edison style bulbs. Plus the glass will need cleaning far too often. I am glad you removed those. I think I would explore pendants that have a black and gold combination. i did this mockup by grabbing the first pendant I happened to see after doing an image search for “black and gold pendants”. There are so many styles you can choose from! Also, please excuse my not to scale mockup. I am just awful at making the pendants look the correct scale to the island!
