Okay, thanks! I have one son that wants his room his old room color, BM Cumulus Cloud. Unfortunately the granite in his bath is quite a bit more "yellowy" than Cumulus Cloud. Gallo Venizio or something... Hmmm... two shades of greige/beige okay? Just think it would look odd to paint a bath with cherry cabinets and a yellow-toned granite BLUE, but that's what he wants! Oh well...

Looks like you have it thought out. I would suggest picking your roof color before you pick your paint color. Paint color is much easier to change over the years. Personally, I would pick a very neutral shade such as grey or black (like you suggested). This way you have many other color options for the color of your home as time goes on. You can find a beige/grey to soften the red in your brick. Versus a cooler grey (Wow that looks really blue next to the top one- but when by themselves, they both look more grey) It will be nice to see how your roof impacts the look of your home over the course of the year and throughout the different seasons. I am not sure where you are located but a north facing home, in the northern US, a grey will take on more of those blue tones. Yes, I would make those attic vents blend in. @ Home interiors with ease., thank you! No the stone was painted. That sample I’ve had for a long time since we purchased the stone about 12 yrs ago. I showed it to the painter as an example of how light I wanted my stone painted with a little less yellow.

Do not test samples of paint on wall. Use poster board, or some small left over pieces of sheetrock, and paint them, and move them around the room, or rooms, in all different lighting situations. Its never wise to paint them on walls, since then you end up having to cover them up when painting, and it doesnt help with looking at the paint on other walls, and at all types of lighting.l
