London Grey. A bit softer and warmer. Still enough contrast. Great dialogue with other elements.

(I must add I'm a bit subjective though-plainly love it, was considering it myself, at some point)

Noble Gray has more movement and looks like a cool gray in your sample.

I tend to like the softer grays, so I'd probably choose London Gray. It appears to be warmer so I like it with the wood floors. It looks slightly better with your tile because it's less contrast.

@ Mayflowers - The Nobel Grey in person is actually a cooler grey tone, almost a slightly blue hue in the right light. Caesarstone's picture on their website (I've looked at thousands of times now), sadly, looks nothing like the sample I have in person.

The slabs may look different yet. Make sure you view them if possible. I was disappointed with one of my Caesarstone Buttermilk slabs. It had odd white resin blotches that looked like a bird bomb. Fortunately the fabricator scratched my counters so he replaced them.

Do you like one more than the other? I think a lot depends on how much movement you want.

@ Mayflowers ... we have a CS distribution center 30 mins from our house (we live in NJ), so I took the ride to look at both slabs. The warehouse lighting is fluorescent so one can only imagine how horrible it makes everything look.

I'm torn between both options because I can make a case for both fairly equally. Yes, London Gray is warmer and softer... a bit more... elegant; a slightly more vintage if you will. Then there is the Noble Grey that has more movement, the veining is more pronounced, its slightly more masculine which I don't mind at all... so both have really great traits...

I just cannot decide for the life of me. I've had these samples for 5 months and have been staring at them the entire weekend with no sway in either direction. :UGH:

You can ask the guys in the slab yard to take slabs outside for you; they do that.

I've been looking at exactly the same options. Personally, I like the Nobel Grey better (its cooler color); however, when pairing it with the Bodbyn white, it seems to me that the warmer, beiger London Grey goes better with the cabinet color. (Sorry, not much help).

@Nosoccer.... They're templating the countertop as we speak, I plan on going with the London Grey because it is a bit warmer and my eye continually goes to it when u look at them side by side.

I'm sad I cannot use both of them somehow. Maybe one day in a bathroom I can use noble grey.

Noble Grey; I find the London Grey too "flat" looking....I like the movement and the cooler grey colour (I too am shopping for Caesarstone colours this week).

Please report back one it's installed.

I like the Noble Grey. A bit more contrast and I also like the movement it has compared to the London Grey.

Update...after 7 months of deliberation, I ended up choosing the London Grey 5000 today. I'll keep you posted on the outcome.

Where is the Ceasarstone yard? We are building in Marlboro, nj and want to take a look.

You might want to double check but I was under the impression that vent hoods couldn't use flexible hose like that? Might want to double check on the appliance forum.

Also, I love your sink! What brand were you able to get to fit the Ikea cabinetry? We were told not to put a sink like that directly next to the dishwasher (for support reasons) by Ikea, so I am glad to see you can!

Its the CaesarStone distribution center in Perth Amboy, NJ (its called Caesarstone of New York) If you call them they'll let you make an appt to come in and view their slabs.

That was the hose that came with the actual hood, so thats what we used. The hood is actually finished and tiled in now to match the wall, so no going back. We did brace the flexi-hose so there wasn't a "droop" in it.

Our sink is the 36" Kohler Whitehaven tall apron front. My husband calls it the bathtub.

You do have to build a wooden support for it, which comes in the Kohler sink directions. It will eat up some of the under cab space of the sink but I'm completely OK with that b/c thats the sink I wanted. It really is gorgeous. We had no issues with the dishwasher being right next to the sink. I'm not a contractor but no one presented that to us as an issue at all. I love it.

@carameanie what is your paint colour? I just ordered Ikea off-white bodbyn today and deciding on paint. Also, your London countertops look a lot like what we ordered - noble grey.
