Melissa, I went with polished. I've had white polished quartz in my previous home and had absolutely no problems with it. Held strong, clean and like new since I installed it seven years ago. I also read bad reviews on honed so getting polished again was a no brainer for me.

Rosa Y How do you clean it? & would you agree even in polished its crisp white and gray veins? When i went to MSI in norwood i thought the polished looked like an ivory with a lot of deep blue/gray markings?

@melissafranco - I'm looking for (and struggling with finding) the exact same thing in my countertops - I want a white base with subtle grey veining but I keep finding that the overall colour doesn't match my white cabinets (it either looks too grey/beige). What did you end up going with??

I'm going with Vicenza as well. Just ordered it this week to go in galley kitchen with white shaker cabinets! I need help with backsplash! I had planned on white subway tile with light gray grout. The 2 white samples I brought home look SUPER BRIGHT white against the Vincenza sample. Has anyone used white subway tile with Vincenza? If so, can you share the name of it and where you got it? Thanks!

Melissa Franco - Can you tell me a bit more about your cabinets and what color of white paint is on them.? We have Lowe’s Shenandoah (brand) in Painted Linen. They seem to be just a shade darker than the Calacatta Vicenza and so I am reaching out to see what others have for cabinetry.

Jeanie- My cabinets are called "crisp white" and are a bright white. The countertop is more of a "bright" white than london sky or other quartz I saw.

Chris tina- my subway tile is daltile in "Arctic White"

We created a cabinet to hide the microwave and the electrical goods like the coffee machine, kettle and toaster - we love It, it works for us.

I am set to go with Calacatta Vincenza (it seems to be the same as the “Vicenza” but I don’t know why the spelling would be consistently different across companies). I also found the best subway tile match was Daltile Arctic White. Your kitchen is lovely and I appreciate the confirmation!

Thank you for the response. It’s so hard to tell from a small sample. I don’t want prominent veining, and I don’t want veins that look like spider veins. I want a warm white and some subtle movement. Is there any darker veining?

I put this countertop on my white cabinets and a year later I still love them. We have gray fabric barstools and gray shiny tile backsplash.

@Meghan Stamelos What color would you describe the veins and background? Is this a subtle veining or more on the busy side? I have Pure White cabinets, and light brown wood floors. The room is somewhat open and in order to carry on, or at least coordinate with the paint in the other areas, I will need to select a greige, or natural tan/variation for the pain on the nearby walls. Do you think this counter would work with that? I like the coordination of your backsplash, counters, and cabinets a lot. How does this counter compare to Minuet, Cirrus, or Snowy Ibiza, if you recall from your "search". After awhile it seems everyone who does a remodel of their kitchen starts speaking the same language.:)
