Majesty Palm Leaves

Hi everyone. I'm in need of some help with my majesty Palm. I've read the forums a little and I've realized that this is not an indoor plant. I know it is a challenge but I am still willing to make it work if it's possible. I bought this Palm around 2 weeks ago and I've had a problem with yellow tips which was resolved by reporting the plant in a pot 2 inches bigger (10 inch to 12 inch). Now the tips are beginning to turn green but the leaves look and feel dry. It has been around 6 days since I last watered it so I watered the plant until water was draining out of the drain holes. Is there anything specific that might be causing the leaves to become dry and curl up? I'm sure it has something to do with either water, or humidity but I don't know what. I have a humidifier that I keep beside this plant all day and I have also been misting it at least 2 times a day. If there isn't enough light coming through the windows I use two 6500K cfls to supplement light, although I'm not sure if it helps that much. Could it be that the plant is in shock because it was reported? Thank you for taking the time to read this. Any help would be appreciated.
