Amaryllis has no leaves after flowering?
Comments (6)You need to dig your finger way down into the pot! If your pot is sitting in something without drainage, the surface of the soil could be dry, but the roots may be sitting in damp soil and are rotting!! Hippeastrum hate to have wet feet and they protest just as you have described. They pout and then they die! Please check the soil down around the roots and give the soil some better drainage! I don't know what you mean by a container that hugs the bulb. You don't need a great photo to give us an idea of what's going on....See MoreAmaryllis flower stalk help
