freezing Bt concentrate?

Bt concentrate has a useful lifetime of a few years, but the extreme dilution at which the suspension is used makes even a pint last sorta forever. I was wondering if some of the Bt concentrate could be frozen in order to lengthen its lifetime. That is, take out a season's worth every season. There is actually a lot in the research literature about this, and while I *think* the consensus is that one can do it successfully, the journalese and jargon makes it a little difficult to be sure.

It does seem clear that the efficacy of it decreases after a number of freeze-thaw cycles, but the price of one freeze-thaw cycle on lethal concentration is just 10-20%.

Does anyone do this routinely in the gardening world or do many people just use half of it and throw the rest out?

I guess a related question is how to extend the lifetime of the suspension. If it is refrigerated, does it last longer?

Yeah, I could just spray it on everything and try to use it up, but ...
