siding update with brick front exterior - need color help!
Comments (1)I actually love the current color scheme because it's so classic. In my opinion, I think what you need is a portico since your front door is inset between the bay windows. A portico would modernize it because the current detail above the door is a bit dated. For the backyard, its a bit grey. I think you need larger trim around the windows. Then gel stain the pergola a darker brown to tie tot he brick and roof. Beautiful house!...See MoreExterior Paint Ideas - Split level with Brick - paint brick or not?
Comments (24)I really like the combination from Patricia. That sage-y green can look great with certain brick. I think your #2 color looks good with the brick (and mortar). Remember you need the color you choose to work with the roof, too. Computer screens can be iffy, but your #1 choice looks somewhat similar to the sage from Patricia. on my screen....See Moreugly brick - help with paint trim color ideas
Comments (2)You might start with a good pressure washing to unify what looks like some discolored areas. It looks like you're trying charcoal or black already. How is that working? Are you just wanting to paint the door and trim above? I have no idea why you're doing the extended arch. There is enough going on visually already. I'd focus on removing the bedraggled greenery in font of the wall and topping the flat parts there with nice big pots of colorful flowers. No one will notice much else if you do that right. Take your time, gather ideas and don't start any construction yet....See MoreNeed help on exterior colors...paint the brick? Different trim color?
Comments (0)We just moved into our new house and I do not like the exterior color choices at all. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I do not like how brown it is. Thoughts on what to change to brighten it up. My thoughts are to paint the brick in Ballet White. Thank so much!...See Morejust_terrilynn
