Andrena ground nesting honey bee relocation?

We are in the midst of attempting to relocate a sweet little colony of these bees. They rarely if ever sting, and are quite wonderful pollinators. They are located on a lot soon to be developed. They were partially living in a discarded dilapidated sleeper couch. Some of the comb was available so we are using it to lure the bees back inside the bucket. Before we realized they were ground bees, we thought we'd caught them..but apparently before we sealed the bucket top just at dark thinking they'd all be inside, they'd escaped. The next morning we found that they had all flown back to the original site of their nest, apparently because of the queen. Looking for advice! Anyway to coax her out without digging up the tunnel?
