Monstera deliciosa yellowing after adding moss pole!

I re-potted my Swiss Cheese plant and added a home made moss pole (hardware cloth and sphagnum moss) and attached the stems with plant wire. I watered it well and sprayed the moss pole. Checked the moisture level with a meter and it was dry, so I watered again and as needed. 5 days later several of the leaves have yellowed and I'm FREAKING OUT!!! This is my favorite plant and was growing great but I read it needed a moss pole.
Is it just suffering from transplant shock or is it dying? The moss pole keeps drying out, is it sucking up all the water from the roots and killing the plant or am I over watering? I'm regretting the moss pole and thinking I should've just adding a cedar plank.
The plant is sitting in the same place in front of a north facing window. Should I trim the yellow leaves and add sugar water?
