Lunch gathering for those in the Philly area

OK, I'll throw down the challenge for
lunch. I can do weekdays or weekends, but Sunday is when a lot of people
go out. Saturday also gets the 'brunch' crowds, but a 1 PM time should work. And I'll suggest Iron Hill on 309 in North Wales
(English Village shopping center near Trader Joe's and Kitchen Kapers).
Food is good and there is parking, easy access by major roads: turnpike
to 309). We have been to the one in Chestnut Hill, and always enjoy it.

Date? I can do it more than once, too. ;-)

Excellent seed collecting and storing guide here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wildonesnativeplants/files/ Labeling your seeds is a good idea. I don't but for some reason I remember the dozens of different seeds I collect. Even the similar ones somehow keep distint in my memory, though it's about the only thing that does! I also use the paper bags to gather and then winnow out most of the chaff later. Some seeds you can easily do it up front. I'll try to get some to someone who's going but I'm afraid Dottie lives too far for me to make the drive. Sounds like a great idea--a seed party!

Dedtired - that tomato stuff is actually the bruscetta mix I bought at Genuardis supermarket. I do not know what they put in it, but it really doesn't matter what time of year it is (or how ripe the tomatoes aren't LOL) it is always really good. Thanks for all the wonderful coments everyone! Carrie: I can't find any way to send messages to another user, except for professionals. I searched the "Using Houzz" advice forum, and the answer seems to be "you can't." Sounds crazy to have a message box for everyone and no way to send messages, but that seems to be the situation.

Sounds good to me! I will be away or tied up with events on some weekends and can only do a late lunch on Saturdays. I am available during the week, too. I will wait to hear when others are available.

I'd love to join you - either weekend or weekday. My schedule is rather bizarre at the moment since we're getting ready to list our house in a month so we've been dealing with painters, carpet cleaners, window washers....... I'm sure you remember how much fun that is. Luckily DH can handle most of that and I could definitely use a mental health day.

......off to google Iron Hill in North Wales.....looks like it's about 40 miles.

I can do either one but would prefer a weekday I think. Weekends tend to get sucked up by my kids' tournaments and competitions etc.

I am in Central NJ but likely will be moving (within the next I don't know when ) to suburban Philly - so I am interested. When it's decided please post when where (or even feel free to message me) and I will try. Thank you for taking this on sushipup I know this is sometimes a real chore to organize.

I am planning a trip and need to confirm the dates. It's possible that I won't be here on the22nd. I will firm up my plans this weekend and let you know. Hoping it works for me.

That's the weekend of my 50th high school reunion. I wasn't sure if we were going since we'd have to drive back to Pittsburgh but my DD volunteered to dog sit so now we can go.

But I'll take a rain check and hope we can met up again on another date.

I'm not back until end of April :(

I still really would like to host another get-together at my house for everyone. We talked about it last year but never settled on a date. The first one was so fun but was years ago now. Maybe this summer after we get the pool in, I'll invite you all for a pool party :)
