Monster Ferns
Comments (10)If those are my ferns you saw, they are Hypolepis repens(Bramble fern). They are very similar and often mistaken for Macrothelypteris torresiana(Mariana Maiden or Sword fern). They are a FL native and slow to become established here, but once they adapt to the soil and climate, can become invasive, with fronds popping up many feet away. Fortunately, they are shallow rooted and are easily removed. Would not recommend for a small or tidy garden. Rb Here is a link that might be useful: Bramble fern...See MoreMonster Tomatoes

Since MRS. Zachariah was the lady that developed it sold the secret cross rights to totally tomato. She always has between 4-6 pound tomatoes....See MoreWhat kind of monster does this?!
Comments (17)Nice! I also like to rescue - I've gotten some real gems from the box store, too. I buy dying dish gardens haha, if there's a single plant in there that I want, it's worth it. got an aloe Christmas carol and an Echeveria nodulosa for $10 http://forums.gardenweb.com/discussions/4196473/aloe-christmas-carol-rescue-update?n=6 and this Echeveria was just a tiny, nondescript green "whatever" in a glue garden - I bought it for the kalanchoe tomentosa - but look at it now!...See MoreWHAT IS THIS MONSTER EATING MY BASIL?
Comments (2)That looks like an assassin bug. They are generally predatory and considered beneficials......that is, they prey on the bad bugs. Don't wanna kill it but let it do its work!...See Moregardengal48 (PNW Z8/9)
