Asking a different kind of q. Dread locks
Comments (51)I love dreadlocks, don't mind tattoos at all and piercings don't bother me for the most part unless they are extreme. haha they only bother me if I imagine how much pain they may have caused. I am sorry that your friends thought that you wouldn't be hired because of your hair or how you look. If my server had any of those things it would not bother me as long as the person was clean, neat and tidy. Times have changed. I don't know many young people that don't have tatts or piercings and they are all going to need jobs. When my niece was hired 20 years or so ago to work at a day care they made her cover up with a band aid a tiny sun and moon tattoo she had on her ankle. The kids asked more questions about the band aid on her foot and could not have cared less about that tattoo. I also have a nephew with sleeve tattoos on both arms, a few piercings. He was a manager in a grocery store and now a big name box store. My nephew is one the sweetest, nicest guys you would ever want to meet and would go out of his way to help any of the customers but I used to overhear some of the remarks that customers would make along the lines of why would anyone hire him, etc. There is so much more to a person than what they look like, and what decorations they wear or hair styles they have. A potential employer not hiring a person with any of these things might be losing the best employee they may have ever hired....See MoreNeed more help from my bridesmaids
Comments (31)Do you actually have the dress in your possession? It looks like from that pic of the back that it's fully lined, at least from the waist down. If there are cups in the front, there surely has to be some lining there, too, because the way it's cut it doesn't look like the lining would start at the waist in the front. It really just looks like it's more sheer in the upper part of the back where you don't need lining or a slip. Hopefully one of those backless bustiers will work perfectly and it won't need a slip or lining....See MoreWedding shoe opinions, please
Comments (82)I agree with the others, your 'unmadeup' face is quite stunning! Similar to the pic of Bobbi Brown, I'd go for a very light makeup job, just to enhance your natural beauty. You have beautiful eyes, so I'd just add some mascara to really show them off. A light touch of foundation could blend any different tones in your skin, and a hint of colour on your cheeks. Your lips are a nice colour, so you could decide to go bare or wear something similar to Bobbi's shade, in the photo. As far as the shoes, they are really pretty, but I do have one question. Have you ever worn that style before, where the outside length of the shoe is closed, but the inner side is open? That's exactly the style I wore 35 years ago when I married, and they really hurt my feet after a short while. Years later I bought another pair of dress shoes in that style, and experienced the same thing. I don't know what it was, but that style shoe is the only kind I've ever worn, that isn't comfortable on me. If you've worn that kind before, then I'm sure those will also be fine! But if you haven't, perhaps you could go to store, try on something similar and walk around in them, just to make sure you find them comfortable. Good luck, (LOVE your dress, btw) you're going to be a gorgeous bride!...See MoreQuotes 11 - 4 - 17 page 2
Comments (2)In my opinion, Joseph Rotblats quotes should be the front page of the Sunday Newspapers and on the second page the Walter Cronkite quotes. Maybe I should have stopped reading after Will Rogers....See MoreRNmomof2 zone 5
