help me ID so I can care for this. thx
Comments (6)LOL it IS quite ugly isn't it? We don't have a green thumb at all, it seems like everytime we try to garden, we might as well bury that money and hope it grows. That's why I want to 'save' as much as i can but want to get rid of the other eyesores. The yard is in terrible shape because it's been neglected for years of being in the market before we just got the house. You don't even want to see the other areas. How do I root it? just cut off some and stick it in some pots? How do I destroy the rest? Is there any saving for this old clump if i cut it to the ground?...See MoreI can't keep my brugs anymore - who can I give them to?
Comments (18)sorry I haven't had a chance to reply to everyone! I haven't forgotten this thread though :P I might have a temporary place for most of my bigger brugs, but the smaller ones still have to go simply because there are too many, and I'll still have a crap ton of cuttings. I'll refer back to this page when it comes time in a few weeks to cut. in the meantime, would anyone be interested in well rooted NOIDs? they're all two to three feet tall. I have one that was given to me as a double white, two pink ones, and one or two that I'm not sure of. shipping's going to be kind of ugly on them, but they're well rooted healthy plants with a good start already. I'll try to remember to check this page frequently :)...See MoreID help and care help needed, please
Comments (7)Phals don't really mind being repotted while they're still in bloom. I've done it before numerous times. Just go easy on their roots and they won't care. In fact, I have a few that I rescued from the clearance shelf that I plan on repotting. My local Wal-Mart had just placed every Phal they had out in the full sunlight and marked them all down. I bought several of them and still felt bad because every single one they had was still in excellent condition and very healthy. But I knew they wouldn't last very long being blasted with full sunlight. Fortunately, I just happened to show up right after they moved them outside....See MorePlease help me ID these succulents; caring tips needed
Comments (11)Kara, Currently I leave both the plants at my east-facing window sill at which sunlight is available for around 8am to 10am. And I plan to increase the sunlight exposure by an hour a week. Hopefully, they can enjoy themselves =) P/s: I live in the southern region in which the weather is still sunny and not quite humid at this time of year ^^. Btw, being curious about location and some private information is welcoming here as it is part of our norms, so no worries :))) Frank, Wow, so this one is the hybrid between the Sedum and Echeveria? Patrick, Ok, so it should be fine to leave them there a week before watering again. I also wonder whether gradual sunlight adjustment like I plan is ok or it is too long? P/s: about the ID yeah we should wait for more comments to confirm. These echies are sometimes too shy to reveal their true forms, or they just love to make us confused xD Thank you all for being very informative and enthusiastic in supporting me ^^...See Morerina_Ontario,Canada 5a
