okay, sorry jbrcotton - jackson, jefferson, clinton, obama, I'm sure you'll be able to find the perfect presidential brick :) pps7: I went to a local brick supplier, picked a bunch off of small display boards that I thought I would like. then they gave me addresses to see them on a house. Lets just say the first round was NOT what I was looking for! you are right, looking at an individual brick or even these display boards don't do the bricks justice or provide the overall proper coloring. It took another 2 rounds to find the perfect brick. and a lot of driving! but worth it in the end. Tumbled brick means that it has a more uneven, bumpy texture to it instead of being perfectly smooth. It doesn't have a consistent pattern on it, but random little nicks and chunks. you might be able to tell a little better in this picture - HTH!

Hey Charliedawg, thanks so much for taking the pic for me! That brick looks darn close to the brick we chose! I really love it! It is so rich and looks GREAT with black accents and white trim! The next time I go to our build site, I'll try to remember to take my camera and take a pic of the house that has our brick, just so we can compare! I am sure that will look great on your home! and who cares who buys the house next? Tony, Do we really have control over what other people do after we sell a house? No. So who gives a rats patooty? And there is also a chance that they will like the brick. But really, it was an inane comment that has no relation to the OP's question.
