BAD LG Refrigerator Customer Service

Sharing a personal experience with LG Customer service.

We made the mistake of purchasing LG kitchen appliances 4 years ago. Since the purchase we have had problems with the dishwasher, range, and refrigerator. We were lucky the first two failed appliances failed within the warranty. When our refrigerator stopped working we followed our owners manual. Then called their customer service. Where the individual reading from the script asked the same questions we read on their website. He wanted to dump me quick. I inquired on the built in diagnostics in troubleshooting. His response was just a moment. I then was dealing with a new representative who then tried to sell me an extended warranty for the repair. You are given two options. One year $463 covers parts&labor. Option 2 6 months for $363. I told them I was looking forward to taking their survey. I never got the call back. The last LG appliance for me.
