A much loved neighbor is about to turn 9! As I've been informed about a million times, lol.

I've never had my own children and these two girls are somewhat of a mystery to me. She's a girly girl tomboy, a larval chef or maybe an olympic speed skater!

(She is having a party, of course. She wants me to help her make her own cake. And she's waaaay beyond teddy bear or princess stuff....she watches the Food network and Youtube cooking shows every day. She knocked on my door recently and asked me if I had a tart pan. Thanks, Ina.)

I need some gift ideas, without spoiling her with expensive gadgets, etc.
