I've just ordered the canvas with cocoa glazing and have gone through at least 8 different counter top choices and am starting over! I cannot find anything I like. Viatera Royal Teak looked GREAT with the cabinets, but too busy and outdated said one. Plus I have one wall of bricks which is really hard to find something to look good with that and faux colored walls?! Anyone? anyone? Nancy Jara - I was told to go for the all plywood cabinets.

(Big sigh), OK, hollysprings, that's what I was afraid of. A big thank you for the advice even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear. I'll probably just go with the standard library molding. However, KM does have an unglazed Biscotti. What if SW matched that and then I tried to match the glaze? Do you think I stand a chance of getting "close enough" since it's 7 ft. up and not right next to the original molding? The problem may be the white paint on the woven molding being purchased now affecting the color of the Biscotti paint. Also, the sheen on the factory molding may make my painted molding look different. I have a little time to practice on my sample molding left from the kitchen if I want to get adventurous.

livvibabiexo, We used Kraftmaid Canvas color cabinets throughout the house. In our kitchen, with our lighting, it comes across as warm white, which is what I was going for. Note: We had tons of problems with Kraftmaid shipping and lots of damaged merchandise that had to be reordered (and we are still dealing with this since last March!). I hope your experience will be be much better than ours. Good Luck!

The door offerings are the same whether PB standard or Vantage All Wood. It's the box that is upgraded. Vantage boxes are NICE. Wood interiors, no vinyl, no PB. If you just want PLYWOOD ends on the exposed ends of your kitchen, You can order KraftMaid with specific cabinets that have plywood ends. That would be less money than Vantage but you get added durability. You can also upgrade to FLUSH finished plywood ends....even thicker and nicer to see and fits better with installation. Thicker door frames aren't necessary for added quality and just add weight and more strain on the hinges. If you're doing a shaker style with a reversed raised panel....that has a thicker center panel. This would be a good choice if you are doing a knotty or rustic wood.
