I've been cleaning a bunch of tools with electrolysis but the process has slowed down and the amperage won't go up to what it used to, either.
As the tank is outdoors (where rain/snow can reduce the alkalinity of the tank), I've been occasionally adding more washing soda. I also know that cold weather (I'm near Boston) -may, according to some people- slow down the process.
However, the tank is now so dirty and cloudy from so much rust and grease that I'm wondering if that can affect the flow of electrons as well.
On sites that deal with cast iron cookware, I see people saying they use the same water for months at a time, but I don't see anybody that does tools specifying one way or the other.
Anybody know? Have a site with more information to recommend about murky water affecting the process? Thanks in advance.
