Recently purchased a 1980's vintage home in FL. The stucco had recently been painted Behr's Mesa Taupe from the original off white stucco:( Former owners left the 5000 lovely golden color ceramic tiles untouched AND introduced moss green columns and louvered trim above the front door along with a "dirty red" front door color and heavy cream facia and trim. Oh and the painted brown walkway and front porch! Arrgghh! And the ridiculous light fixtures. Ok, focus...Repainting the stucco isn't in the budget. What color would you all suggest for the tiled areas? The taupe tends to go pinkish (which I do not love) in bright daylight. Will attach a pic and appreciate any advice! Lower left of photo may show my attempt at painting the gold tiles just to give us an idea if the trim color would be a good/bad/boring idea to replace the gold! Plan to remove tile and replace with ANYTHING but gold! Again, thanks in advance for your help!
