How do I fix this bad grout job?

Earlier this month I had a loft shower leak into a downstairs bathroom ceiling. Obtained a referral from a friend. The installer replaced my acrylic shower floor by installing 2x2" tiles on floor and larger wall tiles around wall base. The final job looks like shower has mold where wall meets floor, and the floor grout color varies from dark to light. Installer stated final grout color would be even and lighter; it isn't. Now it seems that after a shower polyblend sanded grout in front of drain stays dark until next day...don't know why. He's paid and now I have to correct this--either by having him return or paying someone else. I need to know why this variation happened and what I can do now to cure this mess so I can tell him [or someone else] specifically what I want done. Too bad we can't expect people to do the right thing! All expert opinion(s) will be appreciated. Thanks!
