Is it too cold to release my monarch butterflies?

I'm in Berkeley, California. I have three butterflies ready to be released. One of them came out Friday evening, another one Sunday evening and the third one last night, Monday evening. It's been cold, windy and rainy. Stormy, really. We even had some hail yesterday. Now it's not supposed to rain for several days. Should I release them even though it'll be under 50 degrees at night? Will they have a chance to survive? I gave them apple juice on cotton balls to keep them in during the storms, but I don't know how much of that they actually ate. I'd like to release them as soon as possible, but would like them to have a chance... Any suggestions or opinions?
