We are looking to do a full kitchen renovation. We got some inputs from a kitchen planner, but I'm looking for some fresh eyes on the plan. I have a couple of concerns - namely whether we'll regret getting rid of a pantry and the best size for the island.

Thoughts?

Here is the current floor plan - we don't use the eat in area and we have nice moldings in the dining room, so we'd prefer not to change the size of the opening there.
