Positive Marketing (for a change)

Had to return an item from jet.com. CS rep resolved my issue. Then he sent email showing his face, a two sentence profile about him and asking for feedback. Pic aside, not uncommon to request feedback. But the email had 3 icons showing how mgt could reward the rep--a cup of coffee, food or a mystery present. I thought it was kinda neat, instant and tangible gratification. He was great and sounded like a happy person. It seems like a very clever way to keep your CS staff happy. I might be doing more biz with them, now that I know they reward employees.

Though I believe in it, i don't always provide feedback due to lack of time, laziness or forgetfulness. However, with the personal touch of the picture and a 2 sentence bio I felt compelled to answer. If he took time to tell me about him, the least I could do was take time to comply w/feedback request. Clever, effective, innovative marketing.
