Crazy weather - first jugs of winter - native seeds - too late?

Hi all, finally back on the Winter Sowing forum (and back winter sowing) after a very long absence. Had to move and give up my former garden. But happy to be back winter sowing again!

I held off on putting out this year's jugs until later than normal. It's been unusually warm here--almost 70F one day last week. Now the temps are colder, but it's still warm for the middle of January--definitely above freezing. So I finally prepped the jugs and put them outside. The thing is, I jugged a few US native seeds that need the 60 days of cold moistness.

Does anyone have experience sowing natives in the middle of January and did it work for you?
