Help me decide what to do with a 50 yr old healthy Chrysler Imperial

Should I prune it into a "tree?"

Once I defoliated it (while pruning this year) I realized it already looks like it has nice "trunks." It's very healthy. It was over 6 feet tall, but I pruned it down last summer/fall in order to move it. It survived the move and has been thriving. It's about 4-5 feet tall now. It's very healthy. Great foliage and blooms. Pretty much indestructible. It's over 50 years old and survived on neglect for quite some time.

It leafs out from the bottom and top so I could keep it as a bush. It seems to makes new canes pretty regularly. Should I keep it as a bush?

Should I try to prune it into a tree?
