still not good.....

in the middle of the night I woke up coughing so hard something in my stomach popped ...still hurts a little today My husband wanted to get the christmas tree up stairs..thought he could do it alone....he got all the way to the top and the tree case got away from him, he fell flat on his face. not sure but he thinks he may have broke his nose. He is on blood thinner so there was lots of blood .2017 is supposed to be better

Check your belly button area for a protrusion . I coughed so hard I got a hernia . Happened just like you explained it . Coughing , grabbed stomach felt like something tore . It did now I will have to have surgery to repair the hernia . Exact same thing happened to my husband a few months later . Doctor said it's very common . I can push it back in when it bulges but if it ever gets pinched and cuts off circulation it's an emergency surgery . That happened to my mom hers was in her side lower abdomen .

Yours is gorgeous! I have to say that I originally got it for the fragrance alone but the subtlety is really growing on me. I think the leaves are beautiful. It's a blooming machine too. Mine sent up another bloom that should be opening soon. . We were very fortunate this year to just have the heat. I know a lot of you guys really took a beating from the hail.

If it were me, and budget allowed it, I'd replace the door and the sidelights with a solid door for safety reasons, and you can match the period of the house. If that's not your concern, then how about just a roll-up shade mounted on the door to cover the glass, and then uncover it when you want the light. Or match the nice sheers you have. I would NOT want anyone to see in through my front door, but maybe that's me, and certainly would depend on the neighborhood you live in.

z6 is about half the Us.. and very divergent ... where are you ... and what kind of sun exposure are we talking about .. ALL hosta can still look good in august ... properly cared for .. and in the right place .. so we need some more info ... what kind of planter .. and will you be starting with fresh media ... its usually the most important thing in a decorative planter .. speaking of which.. does the planter have drainage??? oh.. and what size???? ken ps: and what will you do with it for winter? .. so many questions.. so little time ...

If you have any rooting hormone powder, there's some fungicide in that. I've never chipped a bulb so don't know if rooting hormone would be recommended; but I kind of doubt that it would hurt, and if I were you I'd have a stab at it. Plus of course jstropic's note re using sphagnum, which being quite acidic is naturally anti-fungal.

I was vomiting so hard once and I put my ribs out of place. After it happens the first time it is easier for it to happen. Now sometimes when I sneeze to hard or cough to hard I put them out again and then I have a hard time getting oxygen into my lungs. I have to go to a chiropractor to have them put back in place. I can tell now when it happens. My sister-in-law told me the first time when it happened, because it had happened to her,

wow, so sorry to hear this. We think we can do things alone but we really need help. Yes those blood thinners will do that. I stopped taking aspirin and fish oil after I started having bloody nose often. Hope all is well by now.

Yikes! Poor you, and poor hubby. What are you DOING about this cough? DH and I got 'some bug' the first week in December -- nonstop coughing and 102F fevers. It took one course of antibiotics to help him and two courses of two different antibiotics, plus a week of Prednisone, to help me. I've just finished the Levoquin and hope that mine won't resurface. DH still has a tickle-cough now and then. We were totally *wiped out* for three weeks.
