Maybe you watered them differently? And plants in large pot are way too deep inside, they could have been shaded more. It should have more potting mix.

If my plants, I would leave the clump in smaller pot as is - just hope there I a drainage hole in that container? They would look much better is terracotta, same size... I would leave plants in large pot until they get bigger - but soil level is too low, so maybe repotting should be done. Did you want to repot them into even bigger pot?

Thanks, yes, there is a drainage hole for sure I dont like pot either but had stuck them in there when they were so very small. I was thinking bigger ones were getting too big for the pot so I was going to repot and maybe put all together if not a bad idea. I will re pot larger pot with more soil. I did the same thing with that pot, after all my seed sprouted I had so many little plants I didn't know what to do with them. Lost quite a few, Its been fun. I have a hard time resisting seeds Jane

It may be a personal preference: I like bunch of them together. Some succulents, I prefer alone. You don't need more soil IMO. Even if you decide to use bigger pot for all of them together, I would suggest not to get a deep pot. I think they would look good in bowl-type terracotta container, or what some call bulb pot - wide, but relatively shallow. I would also make sure drainage is good - can't tell what is your soil like.

I started buying a cactus soil from "re pot me." Thats another reason I wanted to re pot them to use it Its great. Thanks for your help, Ill send you pictures, Here is a pic of my small collection.
