Comments (3)Hi everyone, just want to report back that after some very diligent searching, I've found the correct model with a double oven: Electrolux : EW30DS65GS 30in Slide-in Dual Fuel Range, 4 Sealed Burners, Convection - Stainless Steel http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0015M26H2/ref=cm_rdp_product Reviews are mixed but more good than bad. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Anyone with further information on this one or other similar ones, please speak up! Thanks!!...See MoreLove your double oven slide-in range?
Comments (4)Personally if it were me and space wasn't an issue, I would do a range top and either a single or two single wall oven's. I would weight the cost of each of those in the style's you like as well as the cooking type, e.g. gas, electric, induction. We personally went with a BlueStar rangetop (36") and a single 30" Wolf wall oven. Now those are considered by most a higher end, but there are many many options out there that can and will do the same things. If you go with separate's it gives you the ability to get something you like for each rather than possibly sacrificing on anything. Most bakers tend to like electric oven's compared to gas, but not all. A lot of people prefer to cook with gas compared to electric, though induction is making a good run now. I prefer two single oven's to one double as if one breaks you don't lose both in that case (Worst case scenario). I would do some more research and post back some brands you like, some styles (models if possible) and what you would prefer (Gas, induction etc.) as well as a budget. Best of luck, Phil...See More36" range with single 30" wall oven vs 36" rangetop 30" double oven
Comments (7)Not sure if I'm too late to the party here or if you are still deciding. When we renovated our house 12 years agoe we went with a 36" bluestar range with gas oven and a GE Monogram 30" electric wall oven with GE Advantium Microwave/speed cook/convection above it. I've been super happy with the decision. I cook all the time on the range top and mostly use the wall oven however love having the big gas oven, which fits 2 turkeys for Thanksgiving and roasts them beautifully. Unfortunately our GE Monogram just went kaput so I'm now shopping for a new 30" electric wall oven. Will most likely go with the GE Monogram again but wish I could find one that has knobs and looks a bit less slick. If you've already picked would love to know what you went with and if you are happy with the choices....See MoreILoveRed
