I am redoing my kitchen. We are using Virginia Mist leathered granite. My cabinets will be painted Benjamin Moore White Dove and will look like the attachment. The lower shelf will be open and will house white plates, ceramic mixing bowls and decorative jars holding beans, pasta, etc. It will not be a cluttered mess! Appliances will be stainless steel. I will have a stainless steel stove hood but will use the backsplash tile behind the stove versus a stainless steel panel that is shown in the photo I've attached. I have chosen Mountain Mist by Jeffrey Court for the backsplash subway tile. Should I go with a gray grout that will compliment the granite or should I go white?Kitchen cabinets Also, I am thinking of keeping the area behind the stove just subway tile and not doing a decorative insert. My gut tells me that the open shelves would compete with that. Thoughts? Floors are cherry.
