You should call Wolf technical support and ask them about it. I can't imagine what the problem would be.

I didn't do a lot of searching before choosing my KA 6 burner. It is installed, but not yet hooked up. But one thing I really like is that the granite gets cut in under a flange, so there is no "crud crack". Another thing I like is that my counter run is extra deep at 27" (29" granite), so the rangetop was set back nearly to the wall and nearly flush with the countertop. Here is mine, followed by the floor model which is set in a standard run and protrudes an extra 3+ inches.

We are remodeling our kitchen and will be placing the cooktop in an island. We were planning on using the Wolf Induction but just saw their new contemporary 36" gas cooktop that mounts flush with the countertop. Does anyone have experience with this product? Pros? Cons?

I have the back of our FP as my range wall in my kitchen I would never think to cover it it has that awesome juxtaposition of very mmodern and rustic stone.Uour hood id the same size as our range does an awesome job of venting straight up through the roof ii is a vent-a-hood 1200 CFM yes it is noisy but really only for as long as you are cooking and IMO really not worth spending the money on to make it a bit quieter. My range is a 6 burner all gas with a wok burner no isse with it being the same size as the range you just need to up the CFM a bit if you are going staright up.
