She and the stars around her were attached to the bow on my very first Christmas present from the man I would marry in 6 months. The large yellow star is one of many ultra light tree decorations that daughters made in 1981 with 'Shrinky Dinks' for a Norfolk Island Pine that was our tree for several years....See MoreI'll show you mine if you show me yours Sun Dec 4

Comments (14)I use a canon power shot with really good zooming capability. Only thing I don't like about it is on interior shots, color rendition isn't good...but exterior shots it's great. Also, I use the capabilities on the mac where the photos are stored to adjust them before posting. Some are dark, some are crooked, some need more or less color. It really pays to use those capabilities to get the image to look like what you want to show....See MoreI'll Show You Mine If You Show Me Yours - Sun Dec 24

I bought several of these cute little Norfolk Pine trees that are decorated and living plants and gave them to some of my elderly neighbors that didn't have a tree this year. Some just can't do it anymore and some lost it all in the flood. So now they have a little tree they can plant. I am taking one to my neighbor that invited us to dinner also. She has several tall Norfolk Pines in planters she decorates. This will be a festive table centerpiece. They were so cute I just had to! I failed to get one for myself lol.

Here it is. The aftermath of the great storm of January, 2008. It took us days to dig ourselves out.
