Questions about shelf microwave and ceiling hung cabinets (pics)

This is for a rental property, so I don't know exactly how they will utilize the cabinets for storage. Also, keep in mind that I am on a tight budget. I created some renditions of the kitchen using an online design software. I couldn't figure out how to do the following things in the software.

-There will be panels around the refrigerator.

-The open cabinet below the microwave is actually a dishwasher. The software kept getting stuck when I added the dishwasher.

My first questions is:

Should I install the microwave on a shelf next to the refrigerator panel?

This would free up counter space, but it will reduce wall cabinets.

If I do the microwave shelf, it will look more like a built in slot. It won't have a void where it looks like the cabinets stop and start again.

My other questions pertain to ceiling hung cabinets. There will be a 42in bar top counter behind the range. I'm debating on putting up ceiling hung cabinets or just doing a vent hood. If I do the latter, it will eliminate two 24in cabinets. What are your thoughts?

Installed cabinets:

Base/wall cabinets against the wall

12" base

30" sink base

12" base

12" wall

30" X 18"H Wall bridge over sink

24" wall

30x15H wall bridge above refrig

Base and wall bar top side:

24in pantry

24" base

24" base

24" wall

30" x 24" H wall bridge above stove

24" wall

Keep in mind that if I do the microwave shelf or omit ceiling hung cabinets I will lose those cabinets.
