Kiwis will respond to ethylene oxide so tossing a couple of apples into a paper sack will help them ripen. My experience is 2-4 days. After 4 days, it they aren't ripe they won't ever be. If they are actually damaged plant enzymes will be released from broken cells and will decompose the fruit. [kiwi wine] Smoothees don't care what the consistency of the fruit is neither does any other puree that can be used for leather, jams or flavoring. Trebruchet, thanks for the laugh. I am very very concerned about their competency. Their time on Thursday to install, 2 hours the following day. Monday to come and look at it. Today owner and 2 different installers. And 2 more slabs they have to order. I am in NY, my husband is at the house we are building in SC. I just called him to tell me again what they did this morning. You should be sitting for this...... they took a blow torch to heat up the steam. And then a loud pop when the counter top cracked.

I think the FC looks better with cabinets. Its more modern looking, than the LG. LG gives with more refined look, but rest of the place will very contemporary/modern. I didn't even give thought to backsplash yet, I am leaning towards additional countertop material vs tiles. I think a large uniform surface will be easier to keep clean without the grouts getting dirty. Stove I think will be kicking out lots of smoke and oil. (15k btu + wok) Thank you

I have pretty much the same setup as you and have 1 inch blinds. I want to go with something else but with the shallow windows I’m having a hard time.
