How do you tell the difference between Hydrangea Blaumeise and Taube?

'Blameise' is most often sold as a blue and 'Taube' as a pink. However, either can be pink, purple or blue with pH adjustment of the soil.
In our yard, the one labeled Blameise perhaps has a little larger flower with fewer numbers of individual florets per lacecap head. The first photo below is a nursery plant with extensive acid soil pH adjustment. The second and third photos below show a plant in our yard labeled 'Blameise' in a later year that we treated once that changed over 2-3 years.
The plants below are labeled 'Taube' at nurseries.
