Puck lights would be my last choice in almost any situation. They were a good idea that has been surpassed by several better options.

With frameless cabinets there usually is no valence in front to hide the lights as you get with framed cabinets. The light tape can go up without further modifications to the cabinet. There are also LED strip fixtures but with those you'd probably want a light rail added to the cabinet to hide the fixture. The ones I've seen are about 1/2" thick. Either will give you uniform lighting across the work surface (which puck lights won't do).

If you can provide some info (photos if you have some) we'd want to look at the configuration of your light valance, if you have one, and see where your cabinets butt together (underside of uppers), your countertops etc. Lighting is not a one-size fits all.

Hafele offers a number of aluminum channels with diffusers so you don't see dots just a line. For dark counters I use a deeper channel with a denser diffuser.

To hide it on frameless order wall cabinets with a "recessed bottom ". Many semi-custom brands (at least all 7 I've ever used) offer that mod, with or without a valence in front (behind the bottom of the door).

Not an option? A few of the Hafele channels are meant to fit into a dado routed into the bottom of the cabinet. The routing needs to be done on site unless you have a higher end cabinet. But then you need a good installer.

Last- recently used some large round (about6-7" diameter) disks, 1/4" thick metal edge, nice even light. Also from Hafele , there's also a square one like it. . The large size made it easier to hide the wires.

Mindy, a quick look at the contemporary gallery on the Dura Supreme site looks as if they don't have it. But that surprises me, have KD check the spec book (I can even get it on Show place EVO)

Cabinet would look exactly the same from the front as a standard wall cabinet but the bottom line the cabinet is raised a specified amount (I use 1"), optionally a valence can be added behind the door.

As to lights, I would not mix brands without physically checking. Hafele website - easiest way for consumers is to use specific catalogues.
