I've Finally Figured it Out

User

Awhile back I was enamored with a quilt pattern that I saw in Missouri Star Quilts and went looking for fabric along with what I thought would work out of my stash. Since the stars indicated a background of a night sky, I went with navy blue. So all the while that I was piecing it I was excited with it and looking forward to the finish. I even decided that the quilting would be a multi-color thread with blues, silvers and whites, loopdy-loops and an occasional free-motion shooting star. But after I started quilting, it got so I couldn't stand it anymore. I'm still struggling with getting this thing finished. I've finally realized why - I hate navy blue. Why didn't I realize that when I first started it?? Please say a finish-it prayer for me, I want to move on to something else now.
