I never had one, but remember reading that tubers develop on roots and stems. These are supposedly used to propagate (besides regular stem cuttings). And that's why one of the common names - Rosary vine...

Yes, that's correct it's a tuber. I grow these currently myself & tho' mine is in bloom now, it doesn't have any visible tubers to show you.

I've propagated this plant both ways, placing the tuber on the mix & pinning down its surrounding stems, sometimes w/ a light sprinkling of dry mix over the tuber. Have also planted cuttings w/ several nodes, placing at least one node under the mix & that works too.

My leaves are different than yours as mine is a variation, but definitely C woodii. Here's its bizarre bloom.

Sometimes I just wind the hanging vines around the top of the pot, sort of just piling it on itself for a full & lush look. Otherwise it seems pretty carefree, enjoy.

Thanks for the input Karen! I've seen the blooms, they are weird but pretty :) Mine has bloomed every year so far, it is growing like crazy (well, I live in Ireland LOL). I just want to give it a bushier look by rooting the cuttings.
