Has anyone installed Caesarstone London Grey or Frosty Carrina?
Comments (27)lynn2006: Thanks and I am happy to share, just as others have shared before me. erinf8: Attached is a grouted picture; sorry this was at night with the undercounter lighting on; you see we are getting some reflection from the LEDs. It is not bad from far away, however, just at certain angles up close. The grout is Platinum. We went with this choice to make the veining the star, rather than the grout lines. The UC ighting is also a slightly cooler temp (3K) to emphasize the contrast. The tile was actually my second choice, my first choice was online at the Builders Stone Depot, but that did not work out. After some searching at dealers by my GC and I, I found these, in stock, at a regular warehouse called Liberty Builders in South SF. SparkingWater: Thanks. I did not get to view the slabs before hand. I jumped in with both feet first! I never made it to the Caesarstone local warehouse. Someone asked about the edge earlier: it is mitered and slightly eased, by about 1/8", I think, per the Caesarstone Warranty specifications....See MoreCaesarstone Cosmopolitan White - has anyone used or seen this?
Comments (24)I absolutely love my Cosmopolitian White countertops - I have it in my condo with white ikea cabinets and I love the combo. It’s definitely beige, and not grey - my walls are “BenMoore Dove Wing” and it’s looks fantastic I stressed over this so much! But I’m thrilled with the results. My mom put Eternal Statuario (Silestone)in her kitchen and it’s nice with the white cabinets - but I love the subtle contrast of Cosmo White. Naturally we stress because there are so many choices (too many!). In reality a lot of them are nice so just go with your gut and don’t over process, that’s my tip....Looking back, of course I can say that now! All the best!!...See MorePoll: Which Caesarstone Countertop?
Comments (30)@Jay Walsh- Its the CaesarStone distribution center in Perth Amboy, NJ (its called Caesarstone of New York) If you call them they'll let you make an appt to come in and view their slabs. https://www.google.com/search?q=caesarstone+of+new+york+%E2%80%A2+975+high+street%2C+perth+amboy%2C+nj+08861&oq=caesarstone+&aqs=chrome.1.69i57j35i39l2j0l3.9470j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 @Cpartist- That was the hose that came with the actual hood, so thats what we used. The hood is actually finished and tiled in now to match the wall, so no going back. We did brace the flexi-hose so there wasn't a "droop" in it. @Monica- Our sink is the 36" Kohler Whitehaven tall apron front. My husband calls it the bathtub. You do have to build a wooden support for it, which comes in the Kohler sink directions. It will eat up some of the under cab space of the sink but I'm completely OK with that b/c thats the sink I wanted. It really is gorgeous. We had no issues with the dishwasher being right next to the sink. I'm not a contractor but no one presented that to us as an issue at all. I love it. Thanks every for the compliments, its a work in progress still, we hope to e done in the next few weeks. Will post more pics!...See MoreCaesarstone Noble Grey or Frosty Carrina w/ Gray Cabinets with Brass??
Comments (44)I think there's enough contrast between those grays in the 1st pic, but really depends on the look you are going for and what your backsplash, paint, and hardware will look like. Any ideas about those? I actually really love the Frosty Carrina. I did not consider it until late in the game because I thought it was a little bland based on the sample, but when I saw the full slab, I changed my mind....See MoreJKH
